$ISME tokens are utility tokens that are native to Root Protocol. They are designed to provide multiple accesses to a particular set of products or services within Root Protocol.
The utilities of $ISME are not static.
As we develop the Root Protocol, we envision the use cases and utilities will grow to accommodate a more diverse user base.
Currently, $ISME Token utilities include but are not limited to:
- Voting/Governance: First and foremost, $ISME tokens serve as the governance token, allowing token holders to vote on current and future Root Protocol development decisions.
- Paying Fees: As Root Protocol evolves, we gradually roll out Root Wallet, our Rollup chain, SDK, and many other fee-charging services. $ISME, as the utility tokens, can be used to pay transaction or service fees for these services and products.
- Staking: In our staking mechanisms, users lock up their tokens to participate in network security or to gain additional rewards.
- Reward/Bounty: $ISME can reward users for specific actions, such as contributing to the ecosystem, referring others, or debugging the services.
